You will always work with the same tutor, who will get to know you and your learning style. Many of our students prefer this time-saving method of instruction. You will receive homework in your email for practice and review.

We are a team of educators who specialize in children who learn differently. We have years of expertise catering individualized instruction to struggling students. A vast majority of them will respond well to a curriculum tailored specifically to their needs.

We have taught special education for children diagnosed with learning disabilities, attention deficit, autism spectrum, behavioural and emotional difficulties, just to name a few.

Look no further! Read Write Think offers Direct Instruction online learning across the globe! Get a personal DI instructor at your service no matter where you are.

If you’re interested to start the process, please fill out the assessment form online. Our academic director will get back to you within 48 hours to schedule an assessment.

After the class, the student will be assigned homework. Once completed, the student will share it with the tutor and they will work on the mistakes together.

Here is what we will do

Our service starts with assessing the student’s skills at a time convenient for the family, and drafting a student’s learning plan. Our academic director and the parents are involved into this step.

After that, a student starts working with one of the tutors on our team.

Progress is ensured by consistent administration of the mastery tests provided by Direct Instruction programs. We provide regular progress reports for the families to measure student success.

How will DI online tutoring may help my child?

Online tutoring is an effective way to remediate your child’s skills while saving your time. All you need is a good internet connection, a working printer, and a reliable device with a camera. Your child will work on a customized program with a tutor who will get to know their strengths and needs. All our programs are digitized and will be shared with you as needed.

Online tutoring works exactly like in-person sessions. The tutor will explain the lesson using the whiteboard, and together with a student they will proceed to complete the worksheets. After the class, the student will be assigned homework that will be shared with a tutor once completed. Hundreds of students are RWT have already benefitted from this mode of instruction. Their experience is our proof that online instruction works just great.

Our younger students learn phonics and early reading skills. Lessons are based on sounds presentation and followed by students’ independent reading. Remedial reading and comprehension for struggling older readers.

I am a retired kindergarten teacher who believes in the importance of a solid learning experience in grade one so when we withdrew our grandson from the public system because of a disruptive classroom and peer bullying we felt defeated. I am so happy we found this Learning Centre! When the pandemic started - my husband and I decided our daughter would be having one-on-one online tutoring this year and it was the best decision we've ever made! We have such an amazing teacher from this centre - Stephanie! My daughter loves her! My daughter progressed dramatically in Reading, Writing, Speaking, Math, Science! Before we came to this centre - my daughter didn't like reading at all and almost couldn't read. Now she easily reads books in English and says Reading is her favourite thing now! The quality of teaching is on the highest level! I love teacher's personal/individual approach to my child! They have such interactive, engaging, interesting classes! My daughter is so sad that Summer Break has begun and she will not see her teacher for the whole summer! She can not wait for September to come - to resume classes with her favourite teacher!

I was referred to Read Write Think by an ABA practitioner, who worked with my child. I was looking specifically for Reading tutor, and supplementation in Math and Language. My child finished finished Gr.5 not reading (at all). I see huge progress now, after just 5-6 month with Read Write Think, my child already started to read, which is really a big milestone for us.I can’t really speak high enough about this company, as what they do is truly outstanding! Our tutor Patricia is very gentle, patient and highly skilled. My child is not always cooperative, but she found a way to work with him almost from the day 1. Any feedback and suggestions, that I may have, are immediately taken and applied in the lessons. We have both, home and center-based sessions, and my child really enjoys participating in both!Highly recommend Read Write Think services!

My 9-year-old daughter has participated in both camp programs run by Read. Write. Think. as well as a Learning Pod program to supplement her virtual elementary school curriculum. I can’t speak highly enough about how great the teachers are and what a comfortable and engaging learning environment they create for kids. Emma really enjoyed the program and looked forward to going to lessons every time. She enjoyed all subjects, including Math, English, French and Social Studies and learned so much. We were recommended Read Write Think learning Center by a friend of ours who has her kids in the center.We were looking for professional home schooling/tutoring help for our 14 year old son. When pandemic started and kids were sent home, he got very discouraged and demotivated with his school work. If you are looking for a personalized approach from the owner and each one of the teachers, this is the place that provides it. In addition to high level instructions including effective methodologies, the students get materials adjusted to their own progress on a weekly basis. I have an upcoming parent-teacher interview night. My child has been identified with some learning challenges and IPRC process is on its way. How could you help?

We can accompany you to the meeting and help you advocate for your child. Communication between all parties involved cannot be overestimated in helping your child succeed.

My child has a psycho-educational assessment and there is an IEP in place at his or her school. Should I bring it to the assessment?

Definitely. Any information you have about your child will help us put a proper learning plan in place. Additionally, it will help us save time in getting to know your child’s strengths and needs.

How do you determine my child’s placement into a specific program?

We will meet with your child for an academic assessment aligned with Ontario school expectations. Following that, we will assess which DI program and level is best suited to the student’s current level.
