
Summer Camps for Kids
Read Write Think Learning Centre offers academic summer camps in Vaughan for kids with a low teacher-to-student ratio. This set-up allows instructors to concentrate on the goals of a particular group. Our summer camps / workshops are of academic nature. They offer crash course in many topics of writing, literacy, oral presentations, learning skills and more. Students leave the course with a binder and a toolbox of ready to use skills.

Grade K-3 – Get Ready for School (reading and writing)
This crash course is perfect for the beginning readers and writers. Aimed at developing the reading accuracy and fluency, it rotates around strengthening the sounds recognition and blending. We teach our beginner writers the pencil grip, proper letters formation, and sentence structure. More advanced writers move into developing writing stamina by constructing a full paragraph with teacher support.
Weekly enrollment, $250 HST in, 10 hours of instruction
Grade 4 and up – Accelerated Writing and Reading Comprehension
Take advantage of the extra time off during the summer to work on your child’s literacy skills. We boost persuasive, expository, descriptive and narrative essay writing skills. We advance our students in vocabulary and reading comprehension, as well as the oral presentation skills.
Weekly enrollment, $250 HST in, 10 hours of instruction

Each block of learning lasts four full weeks, July and August. Those lengthier chunks of learning time allow us to cover more academics in greater depth.
Each class lasts three hours and consists of reading, writing and math. Each student is placed in accordance with their current level of achievement and not their grade. That approach ensures that each student benefits from the three layers of instruction.
Each course lasts four full weeks, five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am till 12:30 pm.
